Because it had been awhile...

We played Laura and Mary.

After "ironing" their dresses and getting walked to school by Pa and Ma through the woods,



they ate lunch under a tree.  Then Mrs. Beadle rang the bell.



In the classroom, they drew maps of their route to school,

helped other students with their reading and writing,



And got some trouble from Nellie Olson.  She stole Laura's bonnet!  (note giraffe in swing below)



Then they asked if they could come to school and do it all over again.

So we did.

It's hard to say who enjoyed it most?:)
