Some Ways We've Learned and Played Lately

1.  Kids have been playing Stack the States on the Ipad.  Works even better when they put together our Melissa and Doug puzzle of the U.S. first for reference.  Kids also playing the full version of Minecraft, a Montessori Math game, and a Marble Math game.

2.  Took Tucker to the vet after he we noticed his excessive drinking, urinating, and weight loss.  After the bet took urine and blood samples, he was diagnosed with diabetes.  Two shot of insulin per day from now on!  Otherwise, he's doing great.(notice the Indian attire over regular clothes at the vet's office)

  

 3.  Kids each received backpacks recently.  We've watched some backpacking videos and practiced packing our own bags for short hikes. 

 4.  Made personal Valentines for all 25 of the kids at co-op for our Valentine party. 

 
5.  Played Laura and Mary one afternoon.  Set-up a cabin on the deck.  Tended the fire, "cooked," made popcorn, etc. Temp was in the 50s, but we stayed warm with the fire going.

 6.  Jenna learned to play the song Stand By Me on the violin to participate in a concert at the end of March.
7.  Caroline is learning Ice Cream Sh Cone on the violin.
8.  We watched two PBS specials on the computer about grizzly bears in Alaska and polar bears in the Arctic.
