The Martins Are Back

I heard the first Martins at our house on Caroline's birthday. I heard them before I saw them. I love the sounds they make! We had four visit that day and at least two visit the following day. Based on the late date, we might have the younger Martins make their nests here. Older and wiser scouts (according to some maps I looked at), would have visited a month ago. It's possible we could have missed the scouts arriving earlier, but I don't think so.

The Best Way to Warm-up

As I was heading out the door for my morning 4 miler, both girls threw on some flip-flops and boots
and asked to go with me. We decided to go down the driveway and back to help me warm up (running with me on the road being out of the question).
